Jacquelyn Aluotto began an acting career at the age of 14. She later attended The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York . The socially conscious actress then started to realize that she could make a difference in the world through the use of film. With a never say quit attitude and the belief that any individual can help to change the world for the better, the actress decided to become a filmmaker.

She started Pick It Up! Pictures with the idea that every single one of us needs to be held accountable when it comes to making the world a better place. She is trying to do her part and hopes she can inspire others.

Jacquelyn has now embarked on another mission to help save 8 shelters from closing. The event World Peace Starts at Home is her brain child and will be taking place at a fabulous fresh water oasis Highlands Natural Pool 180 Snake Den Road Ringwood NJ 07456 Starting at 1 pm and ending at 5:30pm invited guest and attendees will enjoy and day in the sun that is a call for action. Attendees will also have the opportunity to enter raffles and raise additional funds for the shelters.
