The Center is equipped with modern workstations, allowing one computer per student. All computers print to a laser printer via a computer network, and access the Internet via a high-speed connection.

The courses offered are designed to teach the latest computer skills to the adult learner. It is comprised of a series of single subject 24 hour certificate programs. Students may enroll in the courses individuallyor a training package which includes all the individual courses.
*Students will receive a certificate upon completion of any course.

We also offer several packages, which include 320 hours of instruction. Beginning with an introduction to the personal computer and keyboarding fundamentals. The study program will then be composed of three levels of Microsoft Word and Excel, with two levels of PowerPoint and Access. Students will also be given the opportunity to discover the Internet is and demonstrate how to navigate the Information Superhighway. Students will learn how to read, send, reply to, forward, attach, and print email. Each level will provide intensive training toward promoting job readiness.

Our instructors are experienced, professional teachers with special skills in teaching adults. Classroom assistants provide additional support during class and practice sessions. The classroom is interactive. Certificates are awarded for each course completed which can be used for possible reimbursement from an employer, or for personal use and satisfaction.
